- 1,000 grams (2.2 lbs.) of Fresh Blue High Quality Indicating Desiccant Beads (Approx 2.2 lbs)
- Indicating Silica Gel will turn Blue to Pink when 50-60% adsorbed with moisture.

- Blue Beads contain "COBALT CHLORIDE" which may pose health risk and environmental issues. Our blue beads contain only 0.005% cobalt chloride
- Adsorption means the attraction of a substance – the adsorbate – to, and its subsequent accumulation on, the surface of a solid material–the adsorbant–which is caused by physical forces of attraction. Adsorbants are substances which are permeated by a large number of very fine pores which give rise to large internal surface area. This, in turn, determines the adsorption capacity of the adsorbant, since a large internal surface can accommodate more adsorbate.
PneumaticPlus Premium Silica Gel is the highest quality absorbent useful in a wide range of humidity control applications. Common uses for our products are moisture control for compressed air equipment, humidity control for collectibles, jewelry, documents, and other valuables. Blue indicating silica gel beads contain Cobalt Chloride and should not be consumed or used in food, beverage or pharmaceutical applications. Cobalt Chloride may be harmful if swallowed and should be kept out of the reach of children. See our website for more information and SDS. Blue silica gel turns pink when moisture capacity has been reached. Used silica gel can be discarded or reactivated by drying the silica gel beads in a microwave or conventional oven. For best humidity control and moisture sensitive applications, we recommend replacing used silica gel beads. Warning: Keep out of the reach of children
